CleanMyPC is a new cleaning and maintenance utility for Windows from MacPaw Inc., the company that has already made a strike with its similar product CleanMyMac. CleanMyPC includes a suite of cleaning tools for Windows computers. The main component finds and cleans next types of data:
Caches and Logs (this is data that was generated by applications but became useless, outdated or just purposed for developers or system administrators, but not common users), Help Files (these are the files that can be safely removed since most of users don't use or don't need help files to work with applications), Extra Languages (these files allow many applications to come with inbuilt support of variety languages, which you don't use and don't even know in most cases, such files should be deleted in order to free space on your hard drive and speed up your PC), Trash & Junk (include all the data generated by the apps and the system that are kept in local trash folders, outdated, corrupt or won't be used anymore due to the new versions of software). Besides its main cleaning component CleanMyPC includes five utilities for PC maintenance: Secure Erase (which allows to ensure that the data you want to be deleted won't leave any trace on your hard drive at all), Complete Uninstall (the module that looks for all files related to the app and cleans them completely along with the app itself), Registry Maintenance (module that keeps Windows registry safe and sound, thus providing stability and reliability of your operational system), Autorun Manager (which allows to edit the list of apps that are being launched at Windows startup and that increase the system load time), Gadgets & Extensions Manager (utility for managing all the gadgets and extensions that are installed in your OS and consume your RAM and processor power). With such features CleanMyPC is obviously a number one cleaning utility for everybody who wants his PC to be clean, stable and fast.
